Job Overview Position Summary

The Loan Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of loans and leases within the banking computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive servicing for various loan types, including Commercial, Equipment Financing, Mortgage, and Consumer loans.
  • Ensure that new and renewed note information adheres to established quality standards.
  • Calculate interest and principal payments, as well as payoffs on loans.
  • Process loan payments, including remittances for participation loans.
  • Monitor reports to verify the accuracy of information.
  • Reconcile multiple general ledger accounts.
  • Manage the bank's lender-placed insurance.
  • Handle non-accrual and charge-off loans.
  • Process incoming wire transfers.
  • Verify and rectify E-Oscar disputes.
  • Maintain escrow accounts efficiently.
  • Process loans that have been paid in full and release collateral accordingly.
  • Check in new consumer and mortgage notes along with their collateral.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to paid in full loans and collateral.
  • Conduct monthly reporting and remittance to various investors.
  • Foster and promote the bank's sales culture and service philosophies.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • An Associate's Degree is preferred, or a combination of relevant banking experience and/or education.
  • A minimum of six to nine months of banking or related experience is preferred.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
