Position Overview:
As a vital link between our valued customers and the Customer Service Department at Mid Cal Labor Solutions, this role is essential in ensuring seamless communication and support.

The primary responsibilities include directing customer inquiries to the appropriate team members, providing quotes for spare parts, and offering clerical assistance to enhance departmental efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate all interactions between the Customer Service Department, clients, and internal staff.
  • Handle incoming customer service calls, directing them to the correct personnel and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain organized records related to customer service operations.

Customer Service Management:
Maintain comprehensive records, including service history files, print control files, and repair logs.
  • Oversee service parts inventory and maintain accurate customer equipment records.
  • Assist in the organization of training programs by managing communications and promotional materials.
  • Prepare all correspondence with terms and conditions for review by the Contracts Coordinator.
  • Generate verbal and written quotes for repairs and spare parts, ensuring customers are updated on order statuses.
  • Input all relevant Customer Service and Engineering Job/Project cost data into the accounting system.
  • Manage the shipping of domestic and international packages.
  • Perform additional customer service-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Access, and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Experience in interpreting technical documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Documented U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status.

Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs, climbing stairs, keyboarding, standing, bending, sitting, reaching, seeing, hearing, speaking, and understanding English.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with SyteLine and ACT is advantageous.
