Operations and Events Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations and Events Coordinator to join our team at Beacon Hill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating various operational duties, managing student events, and providing administrative support to our leadership and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate work order databases, prioritize tasks, and provide high levels of customer service.
  • Event Management: Manage student events and conferences, meet with organizers, and staff events.
  • Administrative Support: Provide a range of administrative support to leadership and staff, including word processing, document management, and filing.
  • Financial Management: Process vendor invoices, credit vouchers, and transactions for the department.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, fellows, and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.
