About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Tempositions, Inc. as a caregiver for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encourage and support individuals in their personal goals and aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
