Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment that enables individuals to achieve their personal goals and live independently.
  • Work closely with Case Supervisors to develop and implement individualized plans of action, ensuring that each person receives the necessary support and care.
  • Document services rendered and client progress on a daily and monthly basis, providing accurate and detailed reports.
  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Submit all paperwork and monthly summaries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere to all agency regulations and policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a caregiving or support role.
  • Reliable and insured transportation, including a valid driver's license and vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant education or training in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends, as needed.
