Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-based setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as showering, toileting, and grooming.
- Encourage independence and growth through patient, enthusiastic, and energetic support.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some college education is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License, NY State preferred.
- Work experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to participate in paid NYS Mandated OPWDD initial trainings.
- Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions.
