Supply Chain Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Coordinator at All Pro Nyc Llc, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient movement and delivery of products. Your responsibilities will encompass collaboration with various stakeholders, including internal departments, vendors, and clients, to ensure optimal logistics performance.
Compensation & Contract Information
- Hourly Rate: USD $30.00
- Contract Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the transportation of goods: organize shipping schedules, monitor shipments, and guarantee timely arrivals.
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) for documentation and order management.
- Update and maintain purchase orders and shipment records to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Engage with carriers, suppliers, and clients to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Oversee inventory levels, collaborating with procurement and warehouse teams to enhance stock management and reduce shortages.
- Ensure compliance with logistics standards and company protocols.
- Leverage logistics software for shipment tracking, report generation, and performance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of shipments, invoices, and related documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, ideally within a comparable sector.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Experience with interstate shipments and large retail environments.
- Solid understanding of transportation regulations and logistics methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving skills.
- Dedication to customer satisfaction and ongoing improvement.
