Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- **Safety & Security:** Ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and materials. Collaborate with the Fleet and Safety Manager on building security and emergency protocols.
Act as the primary responder for off-hour emergencies and alarm activations. Maintain the security of the facility and grounds.
- **Staff Management:** Responsible for training, mentoring, and developing all facility personnel. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and manage payroll processes. Continuously assess areas of responsibility to enhance productivity and efficiency. Lead by example and promote a transparent management style.
- **Financial Oversight:** Meet monthly financial objectives set by the organization. Prepare and monitor the annual operational budget.
- **Administrative Duties:** Maintain adequate inventory levels and manage logistics strategies. Schedule and coordinate third-party vendors as necessary. Ensure smooth operations within the distribution center, auditing product quality and improving key performance indicators.
- **Customer Satisfaction:** Ensure the satisfaction of roofing contractors and maintain a strong record of excellent customer service.
- **Experience:** A minimum of 7 years in an operations management role or similar capacity.
- **Skills:** Strong understanding of operations management principles, financial oversight, and organizational best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a highly organized approach to management.
- **Education:** Preferred Bachelor's degree in operations management or a related field.
- **Attributes:** Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong planning, multitasking, and time management abilities.
