Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the transportation of goods, including planning logistics, monitoring shipments, and ensuring punctual delivery.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) is essential, along with precise record-keeping and effective management of purchase orders.
- Maintain and update purchase orders in internal databases, ensuring comprehensive shipment documentation and compliance.
- Engage in clear communication with carriers, suppliers, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries, addressing any logistical challenges that arise.
- Monitor stock levels and work alongside procurement and warehouse teams to enhance inventory management and reduce shortages.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies governing logistics and transportation activities.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, create reports, and evaluate performance metrics.
- Identify and implement strategies for process enhancement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
- Keep accurate records of shipments, invoices, and relevant documentation.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, ideally within a comparable sector.
- Expertise in ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Experience with state-line shipments and large retail operations.
- Solid understanding of transportation regulations and logistics methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in logistics software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
