Role Summary

The South College Orlando Campus is looking for candidates for the role of Office Coordinator/Reception Specialist, specifically for evening and weekend shifts. This part-time position is integral to our administrative team, providing essential clerical support to achieve the goals of our learning environment. The Office Coordinator/Reception Specialist will manage general office operations and support facility needs at the Orlando Campus. We are in search of a collaborative individual with outstanding communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and students at the institution.
  • Oversee office management tasks, including handling incoming calls, faxing, responding to emails, managing mail, and ordering necessary office supplies.
  • Provide administrative assistance to campus leadership, faculty, and staff.
  • Support meetings and events as required.
  • Facilitate the ordering of student transcripts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by campus leadership.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of two to three years in an office setting performing relevant duties.

Skills and Competencies: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational capabilities, a solid work ethic, and sound decision-making abilities are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Some college coursework completed.

Experience with student information systems (e.g., CampusVue, Banner) is advantageous.
