Role Summary

The South College Orlando Campus is looking for candidates for the role of Office Coordinator/Reception Specialist, specifically for evening and weekend shifts. This part-time position is integral to our administrative team, providing essential clerical support to achieve the objectives of our learning environment. The Office Coordinator/Reception Specialist will oversee general office management and facility support at the Orlando Campus. We are in search of a collaborative individual with outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and students who arrive at the campus.
  • Manage office operations, including answering and directing incoming calls, faxing, responding to emails, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and ordering necessary office supplies.
  • Provide administrative assistance to campus leadership, faculty, and staff.
  • Support meetings and events as needed.
  • Facilitate the ordering of student transcripts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by campus leadership.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two to three years in an office setting performing related tasks as outlined above.

Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational abilities, effective communication, a solid work ethic, and the capacity to make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Some college coursework completed.

Experience: Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., CampusVue, Banner).
