About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Liaison to join our team at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between our physicians, patients, and insurance payors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with contract negotiations and analytics to ensure optimal reimbursement for our physicians.
  • Coordinate physician enrollment in managed care plans and ensure compliance with negotiated contracts.
  • Resolve payment issues with insurance payors and act as a liaison between physician offices and payors.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, and maintain tracking logs for insurance payor issues.
  • Oversee the PHO phone line, answer inquiries, and assist with urgent physician office issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a liaison or coordination role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

We offer a competitive salary range of $42.85 - $43.92, as well as additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
