We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team in the North Central region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our biopharma customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets in the North Central region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at biopharma companies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in next-generation sequencing and provide expert advice to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans.
- Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and sales tracking through our CRM system.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
- Represent the company professionally, ethically, and morally at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in the life science industry.
- Extensive knowledge of next-generation sequencing.
- Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role.
- A Master's or PhD degree is desirable.
- Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.
