About Beatrix - River North

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Beatrix - River North, a vibrant neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant, and meeting place. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Oversee all mid- and closing kitchen duties, including inventory management, ordering, and controlling food and labor costs.
  • Run BOH shifts, ensuring efficient operations, and supervise the kitchen, dish, and all other BOH teams.
  • Partner with the General Manager and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop all BOH employees and teams as needed.
  • Model and promote teamwork across all teams, using tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Executive Sous Chef experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Ability to lead and manage the kitchen staff.

Salary Range: USD $60,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
