Job SummaryThe Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire back-of-house (BOH) operation, ensuring seamless execution of menu items, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a high-performing team, drive innovation, and foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement seasonal menus, new menu items, and specials in collaboration with divisional leaders
- Lead and manage the BOH team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent service and high-quality food
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and purchasing standards to maintain profitability
- Partner with GM and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop all BOH employees and teams as needed
- Model and promote teamwork across all teams, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment
- Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors, and employees, responding with patience and courtesy
- 5+ years of Executive Chef experience in a full-service restaurant
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of BOH systems, including inventory management, food costing, and purchasing standards
