Job Overview:
Join our team as a Fire Protection Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire suppression systems across various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to service requests from the Service Resource Center, gathering essential details regarding equipment or system issues.
2. Communicate effectively with customer representatives to identify and resolve equipment/system malfunctions.
3. Conduct maintenance and repairs on a variety of fire sprinkler systems, including but not limited to:
- Wet systems (steel, copper, CPVC)
- Dry systems
- Pre-action systems
- Deluge systems
- Fire pumps
4. Utilize blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
5. Exhibit exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with district staff and clients to ensure satisfaction.
6. Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically, ensuring accurate coding and obtaining customer signatures.
7. Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to provide timely service.

Qualifications:
~ Minimum of 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
~ Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
~ Willingness to work in challenging positions, such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
~ Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
~ Willingness to travel extensively, covering Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming, with overnight stays as required.

Compensation:
~ Hourly wage range: $28-$35, determined by the applicant's education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
