Airport Vehicle Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Airport Vehicle Technician to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airport vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair airport vehicles, including Fire Fighting vehicles, Police vehicles, Administrative vehicles, Airfield heavy equipment vehicles, and numerous pieces of power and non-powered support equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and repair mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operation of airport vehicles and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of airport vehicle and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
