About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform design analysis and calculations for fire protection projects, including the preparation of final detailed working drawings, comparative cost analysis, and project specifications.
  • Develop complex designs and analyses utilizing advanced fire protection engineering software.
  • Coordinate activities with other engineers and architects to ensure that final detailed working drawings, specifications, and RFPs are properly integrated with the building systems.
  • Ensure that the structural aspects of the project are constructed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
