About the Role

This is a dynamic, high-energy role in which you will bring the Internet of Things to mid-sized customers, building Samsara's business and bringing the benefits of sensor data to customers. Typical sales will be $20k to $100k, and involve POCs, multiple stakeholders, managing trials, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the mid-market segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than $10,000 in annual revenue.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the mid-market space - medium to large deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Strong knowledge of sales tools, including CRM software.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
