Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Restaurant and Bar Manager to join our team at the Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the profitable operation of our restaurant division, developing the brand and identity for the operation, and planning future goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and training to foster a positive growth-oriented environment focused on exceptional customer service, revenue, and profits.
  • Work closely with the Assistant General Manager to oversee the Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar operations.
  • Establish and communicate performance criteria to all employees, and provide timely feedback.
  • Formally review and evaluate performance goals and objectives on a regular basis.
  • Discipline and create performance improvement plans for employees, and terminate employees when necessary.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels, prepare weekly department schedules, and direct reports.
  • Work with the Assistant General Manager on the day-to-day payroll process.
  • Communicate with team members to answer questions and provide clear direction.
  • Provide timely, real-time feedback to associates on service and operational standards.
  • Conduct ongoing training programs for new and existing management and hourly staff.
  • Promote and market the Silver Trumpet Restaurant to increase revenue goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years in hospitality as an experienced food and beverage supervisor in a full-service hotel.
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry, purchasing policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in working with various computer programs, including Micros and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven record of organization, detail-oriented, and able to make productive and efficient decisions.
  • Prior experience with 4 Diamond rated hotels preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
