Key Responsibilities

Support the International Business Development Team in meeting sales objectives by promptly addressing customer inquiries.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Showcase and clarify the functionality and application of Action Target products.
  • Assist International Territory Directors in managing projects for secured bids, ensuring all parties fulfill their commitments.
  • Gain expertise in estimating potential projects, requiring a comprehensive understanding of Action Target offerings and proficiency with estimation tools.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports, sales documentation, and various administrative tasks.
  • Research new products to provide informed recommendations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with various internal teams, including drafting, engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and conduct site visits and customer meetings as necessary.
  • Advise clients on layouts, legal and insurance considerations, cost assessments, contract negotiations, and collection strategies for outdoor range sales.
  • Prepare bids and confirm orders for clients.
  • Coordinate with accounts payable to establish invoicing procedures for specialized projects.
  • Assist the shipping department in preparing international shipping documentation.
  • Work with the shipping team to verify shipping costs for each estimate.
  • Ensure that contracts with international distributors are current.
  • Relay important customer feedback to relevant internal teams.
  • Manage communications with customers, including phone calls as directed by Team Managers, which may occur outside regular hours to accommodate global time zones.
  • Transfer warranty and service contacts to the After Market Services department.
  • Handle a high volume of email correspondence.
  • Assist in creating travel itineraries for yourself and International Team Managers.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution preferred.
  • Experience: Two to four years of relevant experience, particularly in sales and project management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in spreadsheets and word processing, familiar with Microsoft 365 and ERP systems; experience with Panda Doc is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Background in law enforcement, military, or construction management is a plus.
  • International business experience is beneficial.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours when necessary.
