Sales Performance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and leadership to meet sales objectives by delivering timely sales insights, including pipeline evaluations, effective practices, and sales performance metrics.
  • Engage with sales operations and management to pinpoint challenges and areas for improvement within the organization, working with relevant stakeholders to address these issues.
  • Partner with teams to uncover problems and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency for the sales force.
  • Tackle issues of moderate to high complexity where the analysis of data or situations necessitates consideration of multiple factors.
  • Coordinate with internal departments throughout each sales cycle to resolve outstanding items and finalize transactions, ensuring all required documentation is completed prior to closing.
  • Support the sales team during the end-of-quarter push by facilitating the processing of all sales orders and approvals through internal systems.
  • Assist the sales team with operational needs related to internal processes and systems.
  • Help structure deals to ensure optimal value for the organization while maximizing sales targets.
  • Work collaboratively with other Sales Operations Managers to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and promote standardization across the sales organization.
  • Exercise discretion within established procedures to determine appropriate actions.
  • Plan and execute projects for account and territory selection to optimize sales team effectiveness for future planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance.
  • Experience in financial and project data analysis.
  • Background in finance, knowledgeable in budgeting, capital expenditures, operational expenditures, depreciation, financial modeling, and return on investment.
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and modeling, with experience in metrics and data analytics.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Operations, Finance, or analytical role.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in Excel with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster cross-functional relationships.
  • Possess a proactive attitude and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is advantageous.
