Position Overview

In the role of Sales Executive, you will be pivotal in our mission to support educational districts facing significant competition. Your achievements will not only drive SchoolMint's growth but also contribute to the stability of our educational communities.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-driven professional with excellent communication and innovative problem-solving abilities. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively within a team, be open to coaching, and possess a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement. Success in this position demands resilience, determination, and the ability to diligently follow up with leads, qualify opportunities, and finalize contracts for our rapidly growing venture-backed organization. Strong networking, presentation, and closing skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Oversee the sales process from initial prospecting to contract negotiation and signing.
  • Engage in a high volume of daily communications with decision-makers via email and phone.
  • Deliver outstanding sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain and manage all opportunity data effectively.
  • Establish credibility and build trusted relationships with K-12 school administrators and decision-makers.
  • Stay informed about all SchoolMint product offerings through active participation in demonstrations, meetings, and marketing initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitor products.
  • Develop and refine prospecting and sales strategies in collaboration with the SchoolMint team.
  • Foster strong communication and follow-up with marketing and sales teams.
  • Contribute to project teams as needed to support Sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Represent SchoolMint at various conferences, events, and community engagement opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in K-12 education with a solid understanding of administrative processes and parent interactions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling enterprise-level SaaS solutions such as SIS/SRS, LMS, or CRM.
  • Familiarity with solution selling or challenger sales methodologies.
  • Proficient in sales processes, tools, and systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to inspire the SchoolMint team and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and objectives effectively.
  • Proactive and self-sufficient, while also embracing a team-oriented approach.
  • Tenacious and persistent, with a passion for achieving goals and closing deals.
  • Enjoys experimenting and discovering more efficient methods of operation.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to tracking all activities.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with anyone, at any time.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
