Position Overview

In the role of Sales Executive, you will play a crucial part in supporting educational districts facing significant competition. Your achievements will not only contribute to SchoolMint's expansion but also bolster the resilience of our educational communities.

Success in this position requires independence, perseverance, and a commitment to diligently follow up with leads, assess opportunities, and finalize contracts for our expanding venture-backed organization. Proficiency in networking, presenting, and closing deals will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Oversee the sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation to contract signing.
  • Engage in a high volume of daily outreach via emails and calls to key decision-makers.
  • Deliver exceptional sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain and manage all opportunity data effectively.
  • Establish credibility and build trusted relationships with K-12 school administrators and decision-makers.
  • Stay informed about all SchoolMint product offerings through active participation in demonstrations, meetings, and marketing initiatives. Clearly articulate SchoolMint's value propositions to key stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitors' offerings.
  • Develop and refine prospecting and sales strategies in collaboration with the SchoolMint team.
  • Foster strong communication and follow-up with marketing and sales teams.
  • Contribute to project teams as necessary to support Sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Represent SchoolMint at industry conferences, events, and community engagement opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in K-12 education with a solid understanding of administrative processes and parent interactions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling enterprise-level SaaS solutions such as SIS/SRS, LMS, or CRM.
  • Familiarity with solution selling or challenger sales methodologies.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, tools, and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated by managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to inspire and challenge the SchoolMint team and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and self-sufficient, while maintaining a collaborative team spirit.
  • Tenacious and driven by achieving goals and closing deals.
