Job Overview

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is seeking a Program Manager to oversee our Corporate and Foundation Programs. This role is integral to our mission of fostering a more interconnected and equitable world through education.

Position Summary

The Program Manager will be a key player in IIE's partnership with the Ford Foundation, focusing on the Ford Global Fellowship (FGF). This initiative aims to connect and empower emerging leaders in social justice, providing them with the tools to address global inequalities. The FGF represents a significant investment in cultivating impactful global fellowship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project manager, coordinating timelines and deliverables with all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the effective execution of fellowship program elements, emphasizing global event management.
  • Manage travel logistics for Fellows, including visa support and ensuring accessibility at events.
  • Provide tailored assistance to Fellows, partners, and consultants throughout the program cycle.
  • Oversee the selection and management of local partners in countries hosting FGF events.
  • Train and supervise temporary staff for global events.
  • Lead a dedicated team member within IIE for this program.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in global scholarship, fellowship, or grant-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within complex teams and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities, particularly in global event settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $63,299 - $80,945, influenced by factors such as relevant experience and skills. IIE provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
