Role Summary

The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in the Corporate and Foundation Programs, specifically as the Program Implementation and Administration Partner for the Ford Foundation's Ford Global Fellowship (FGF). This initiative is designed to connect and empower emerging leaders in social justice, focusing on innovative strategies to combat inequality. The FGF represents a significant investment in cultivating a vibrant, impactful fellowship experience over a decade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary project manager, coordinating timelines and calendars in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the successful execution of all fellowship program elements, with an emphasis on global event management. This includes overseeing travel logistics for Fellows, assisting with visa processes, ensuring events are accessible, and managing participant data in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide tailored support to Fellows, partners, and consultants throughout the program cycle.
  • Oversee the selection and management of local partners in countries hosting FGF gatherings.
  • Train and supervise seasonal staff involved in global events.
  • Lead a dedicated team member within IIE focused on this program.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in global scholarship, fellowship, or grant-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within complex teams and engage multiple stakeholders, fostering inclusive and equitable environments.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a comprehensive understanding of both overarching goals and specific execution details.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse team members and partners.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $63,299 - $80,945, influenced by factors such as relevant experience and skills. IIE offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, student loan assistance, professional development support, retirement plans, and family medical leave.
