Position Overview:
We are looking for a Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with safety regulations at various levels. This role encompasses the collection and analysis of safety data, preparation of compliance reports, and the establishment of internal safety protocols. The specialist will conduct safety audits, provide training for staff, and maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities.

3. **Management of Workman's Compensation**
4. **Conducting Inspections and Ensuring Compliance**
5. **Training and Development of Personnel**
6. **Maintenance of Compliance Records**
7. **Incident Management and Reporting**
8. **Industrial Hygiene Sampling**
9. **Coordination with Community and Government Entities**
10. **Staying Updated on Regulatory Changes**
11. **Promoting Sustainability and Governance Initiatives**

Qualifications:
Regulatory Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations at federal, state, and local levels, including hazard assessments and safety protocols.


Certifications:
OSHA 30, First Aid, AED training, and Stop the Bleed certification, or the willingness to obtain these certifications promptly.

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective collaboration with regulatory bodies, conducting training, and preparing comprehensive reports.

Organizational Abilities:
Proficient in maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely submission of necessary documentation.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to collaborate effectively with plant personnel, management, and regulatory agencies to foster a culture of safety compliance.


Training and Development Skills:
Experience in creating and delivering training programs on safety goals, processes, and procedures for staff.

Project Management Skills:
Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Familiarity with regulatory matters such as program development and policy implementation is essential.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and background check. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range:
$50,000 - $65,000 annually (based on experience) + Commission
