Position Overview:
We are looking for a Safety Specialist to oversee compliance with safety regulations at our facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety standards. Essential Qualifications:
Regulatory Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, including hazard assessments, HAZCOM, and protective measures for employees.


Certifications:
Must possess or be willing to obtain OSHA 30, First Aid, AED, and Stop the Bleed certifications.

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written skills for effective interaction with regulatory bodies and for conducting training sessions.

Organizational Abilities:
Proficient in maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely documentation submissions.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels, fostering a culture of safety compliance.


Training Capabilities:
Skilled in creating and delivering training programs focused on safety goals and procedures.

Project Management:
Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and program development is preferred. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally.

Additional Information:
Successful candidates will be required to pass a drug screening and background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range:
$50,000 - $65,000 annually (based on experience) + Commission
