Area Sales Representative

Sirtex Medical is a global leader in healthcare, with a mission to be at the forefront of minimally invasive cancer and embolization therapies.
Our flagship product, SIR-Spheres Y-90 resin microspheres, is a targeted radiation therapy for liver cancer, with over 150K doses delivered across 50+ countries, significantly impacting patients' lives worldwide.
We are seeking a skilled Area Sales Representative to join our team, providing medical procedure coverage and in-servicing in a multi-state geography.
The primary function of this role is to provide clinical and technical support to clinicians and other staff during procedures related to our flagship product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical and technical support to clinicians and other staff during procedures
- Assisting Regional Sales Managers in meeting and exceeding business targets
- Developing relationships with key hospital staff
- Delivering sales presentations and performing on-site product demonstrations
- Assisting in the development and implementation of account plans for key accounts and partners
Requirements include:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- ~1 year's experience in medical procedure coverage, preferably in Interventional Radiology (IR), Operating Room (OR), Cath Lab, Office-based or related
- Previous work experience in medical device, B2B, or hospital setting preferred
- Ability to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and articulate a clinical sales message
- Proven track record of sales success, including recognition awards and/or increased responsibility
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills
