Job Overview

Solar Pros is a leading company in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of solar technology in residential areas.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and targeting residential areas that could benefit from solar energy solutions. You will conduct door-to-door sales to educate homeowners about the benefits of installing solar panels and how these can reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target residential areas that could benefit from solar energy solutions.
  • Conduct door-to-door sales to educate homeowners about the benefits of installing solar panels.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the solar industry, including technology advancements and government rebates or incentives.
  • Follow up with leads generated by the marketing team, scheduling and conducting site assessments and consultation meetings.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring that both the client's expectations and the company's sales targets are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or queries clients might have post-installation.
  • Regularly meet sales targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy and goals of the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Consultant or similar role in direct sales environments, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Ability to engage and persuade potential customers through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with the drive and resilience needed to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Professional appearance and persona, representing the company's brand and values during every customer interaction.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages considered a bonus.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver's license as the job involves considerable local travel.
  • Must have outstanding negotiation and closing skills, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Great communication skills, able to clearly convey product value and understand customer needs.
  • Hard-working and committed to achieving both individual and company goals.
  • Solid ethical framework for conducting business and representing Solar Pros in the community.
