Position Overview

ITS is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Vice President of Managed Solutions (MS). This position will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will be responsible for the comprehensive development, strategic direction, and ongoing management of ITS' Managed Solutions revenue stream and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess both operational expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a strategic vision to guide one of our most promising verticals while formulating a complete Managed Solutions strategy and offering. This role is crucial in leveraging current and prospective clients and partners, and will involve close collaboration with the senior executive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate, implement, and execute a strategic vision and operational framework for the Managed Solutions division that optimizes existing and future offerings while achieving or surpassing ITS' industry-leading return on investment and profitability.
  • Oversee all aspects of the MS division, including strategic sales objectives in partnership with cross-functional teams, innovation/product development, workforce management, technology integration, value creation, and strategic decision-making.
  • Accountable for the Managed Solutions profit and loss statement.
  • Enhance pricing strategies, including customizable pricing models to meet client needs and maximize profitability while mitigating risks.
  • Establish and maintain high-level client relationships.
  • Develop and sustain high-level partnerships with suppliers and data providers.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive suite of services, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Carrier Procurement and Management, Freight Audit and Payment, and Reporting and Analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with the CCO and technology teams to develop and drive the configuration and customization of technology platforms for client engagement.
  • Establish, manage, and evaluate the division against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Promote and embody the company values and mission statement, striving for "Excellence in Everything We Do."

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of being a key leader or contributor in establishing and managing a successful, technology-driven Managed Solutions organization, with a deep understanding of how to expand a Software-as-a-Service revenue stream in conjunction with ITS' other offerings.

Additional qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Over 7 years of experience in strategic procurement and supply chain management, focusing on Managed Solutions and/or Software-as-a-Service.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts and agreements.
  • Understanding the distinctions between selling transportation services and Software-as-a-Service.
  • A proactive individual who is adaptable, flexible, and possesses a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to deliver results effectively and on schedule, despite challenges.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of independence.

The compensation for this role is competitive and includes a comprehensive benefits package with a matching 401k plan.
