We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead all human resources activities and contribute to our rapid growth. As our first and sole HR professional, this person will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing any issues promptly and fairly.
  • Culture Development: Partner with leadership to cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that reflects our values. Organize team-building activities, events, and initiatives to promote employee engagement and morale.
  • Performance Management: Design and implement a performance management system to assess employee performance, provide feedback, and recognize achievements. Identify training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and promote career growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Refine and further develop a competitive compensation and benefits package that attracts and retains top talent. Manage payroll, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain top talent across various departments. Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
  • HR Policies & Procedures: Create and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures that align with company values and comply with legal requirements. Communicate these policies effectively to all employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including equal opportunity employment, anti-discrimination, and workplace safety. Stay up-to-date on any changes in labor laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field / relevant experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Qualities: Self-starter with a hands-on approach. Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about building a positive company culture.
