Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Retirement Solutions Consultant to take charge of the strategic planning, consulting, guidance, marketing, investment analysis, and servicing of a designated portfolio of retirement business. The ideal candidate will possess or have previously held a FINRA Series 6, 63, or 65 license and should be open to regional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities outline the general nature and level of work expected from individuals in this role. This list is not exhaustive and may include additional duties as assigned:
- Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships with key decision-makers.
- Serve as a resource for compliance matters, conduct compliance reviews, and communicate any compliance issues to clients.
- Proactively schedule and attend regular client meetings to ensure their needs are consistently met.
- Independently consult and provide guidance to clients on complex retirement plan matters.
- Address, resolve, and follow up on client inquiries, updating Salesforce to track issues and resolutions.
- Coordinate data collection and prepare presentations for client meetings.
- Conduct investment analysis on various plan investment options.
- Organize and lead employee education sessions.
- Manage all internal reporting and tracking components required by the retirement department, including CRM database setup and maintenance, revenue report preparation, and file management.
- Foster positive interactions and collaboration with internal staff and senior management.
- Engage in team projects and special assignments as necessary.
- Adhere to established NFP internal protocols and procedures.
- Understand and represent the services offered by NFP, providing expert advice and developing solutions for current and future project plans, while executing strategies to demonstrate value and retain existing clients.
- Provide progress reports as needed.
- Manage internal reporting and tracking components required by the retirement department, including Salesforce database maintenance and file management.
- Participate in internal meetings as required.
- Encourage positive interactions and cooperation with internal staff and senior management.
- Engage in team projects and special assignments as necessary.
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on new projects and responsibilities.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
- Operate in accordance with established NFP internal protocols and procedures.
- Understand and represent the services provided by NFP, offering expert advice and developing solutions for current and future project plans, while executing strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients.
