Business Development Leader

GE Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Leader to drive commercial growth and expansion in the Structural Heart market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales and revenue in this critical area.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement regional growth strategies for the Structural Heart market
- Create education plans and cadences for local sales and clinical teams on structural heart and interventional strategies
- Grow visibility and drive win rates in assigned geography/region
- Deliver annual orders and revenue sales targets, maximizing profit margin on equipment and service contract sales
- Identify, develop, and cultivate strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders within customer organizations
- Collaborate closely with Structural Heart Clinical Teams to gain access to cases utilizing Vivid CVUS products
- Specialize in and regularly learn about Structural Heart procedures through the utilization of Cardiovascular Ultrasound
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with account community teams, including Cardiology Care Leaders and Ultrasound Account Managers
- Establish strong relationships with device sales professionals and work with local teams to gain access to procedures and develop protocols for emerging devices/procedures
- Leverage CRM tools to track customer and account activity, map visibility, and drive market share
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years selling and/or clinical experience, or an associate degree with a minimum of 10 years selling and/or clinical experience
- Proven experience with complex sales cycles and working in the hospital interventional environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language
- Ability to develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work well within a team
- Strong presentation and relationship building skills
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Valid motor vehicle license
- Ability to travel 50-75% of time within region
- Strong customer relationships in assigned territory
- Previous experience in the Healthcare industry
- Proven experience and success selling/supporting capital equipment or devices in the interventional cardiac space
- Technical and/or clinical imaging product knowledge, preferably with an Ultrasound background
- Desire to learn and adapt to win in a rapidly evolving environment
- Excellent computer and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of the US Healthcare system and buying group
