  • Witness and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for control panels and skid-based equipment, compiling a detailed list of deficiencies for vendor action;
  • Participate in equipment pre-commissioning checks in the field to resolve issues and maintain the commissioning timeline;
  • Act as the primary contact for the site during the commissioning phase, leading daily meetings and prioritizing tasks and schedules; provide regular updates to the Engineering team and other key stakeholders;
  • Offer technical support for mechanical troubleshooting, sourcing external resources as needed to resolve equipment issues, utilizing mechanical engineering expertise to address problems with blowers, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, process chillers, and gas sampling systems;
  • Maintain a commissioning punch list to prioritize and assign action plans for all irregularities and issues, matching tasks with team members' skill sets;
  • Procure necessary spare parts, filters, lubricants, and other materials required for equipment commissioning and maintenance;
  • Acquire tools and equipment essential for commissioning activities, ensuring team members are trained in their safe use;
  • Administer plant performance testing procedures developed by the Engineering and Operations teams to verify that all equipment and processes meet performance criteria, notifying vendors and the Ameresco team of performance test outcomes and engaging resources to address any failures.
