Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Randstad. This role is crucial for a significant initiative involving various commissioning and retro-commissioning tasks. The selected candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team from a prominent engineering firm, focusing on optimizing the performance of existing structures and electro-mechanical systems. The goal is to ensure that all equipment and systems operate at their intended efficiency, aligning with the operational requirements of our clients. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience in HVAC and lighting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of commissioning, retro-commissioning, and energy efficiency projects for complex facilities across various sectors including healthcare, aviation, and commercial buildings.
  • Oversee the creation of energy efficiency initiatives from initial identification through to installation and subsequent measurement.
  • Monitor HVAC systems using building automation and data logging tools to identify and rectify operational inefficiencies.
  • Manage on-site evaluations of HVAC, lighting, and control systems in collaboration with maintenance and contractor teams.
  • Conduct ASHRAE energy audits and condition assessments to pinpoint energy-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate improvements in energy management and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure thorough retro-commissioning assessments and verification reports for existing facilities are completed with precision.
  • Advise on conceptual designs and operational sequences for energy efficiency projects.
  • Prepare energy modeling simulations to evaluate potential energy savings.
  • Oversee the measurement and verification processes for implemented projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including data and reports.
  • Review operational sequences and equipment specifics to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of new retrofits.
  • Engage in sales initiatives and proposal development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience Level: Senior
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Education: High School Diploma
