About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fisheries Engineer to join our team at Kleinschmidt Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading teams or subteams of engineers and scientists in the delivery of fish passage and aquaculture projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teams of engineers and scientists in the delivery of fish passage and aquaculture projects
  • Perform and/or manage structural, civil, mechanical, and hydraulic design tasks in support of fisheries engineering projects
  • Assist in business development and client management activities
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fisheries and fish passage engineering or a closely related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or Oregon
  • Experience with project management, business development, and client management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
