We have been a trusted provider of short-term rehabilitation, subacute, and long-term healthcare services for over 30 years. Key Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the Baylor Double Weekend Program, where working 4 weekend shifts earns compensation for 5.
  • Providing care during full-time or part-time shifts, with every other weekend required, across various times including days, evenings, or nights.
  • Offering limited per diem opportunities.

The CNA will:

  • Deliver routine daily nursing care in accordance with established procedures and accurately document resident care.
  • Foster a calm and supportive environment throughout the unit or shift.
  • Assist residents with meal preparation, serving trays, and feeding as necessary.
  • Ensure residents' personal care and hygiene needs are met, including assistance with bathing.
  • Support residents with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring as required.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and report any changes in their condition without delay.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a current and valid CNA Certification in New York State.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
  • Exhibit a genuine interest in assisting ill, injured, disabled, elderly, and sometimes challenging residents.
  • Show patience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support both residents and colleagues.
  • Possess excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Be trusted to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively under pressure, remain flexible, and maintain harmonious relationships with all staff members.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC.
