Job Summary

Silver Memories Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Assistant to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Indiana.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
  • Verify patient identity and record medication administration on specified forms or records.
  • Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administration.
  • Take vital signs and observe patients for responses to medications.
  • Document reasons for non-administration of prescribed drugs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Receive and manage medication supplies.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program.
  • Successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide designation requirements.
