About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team in Cardiology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up care to patients under the supervision of physicians.
  • Effectively identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population certified in the Practice.
  • Work in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows for consultation, collaboration, or referral.
  • Educate patients and/or families about preventative care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program or Physician Assistant (PA) Program.
  • Current, unrestricted Medical License in the State of New York (or ability to obtain).
  • Current, Active DEA license and Prescriptive Authority based on state requirements (or ability to obtain).
  • Board Certification.
