Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • ACF certification as Sous Chef or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in quantity food production, preferably in an upscale hotel or restaurant.
  • One plus years of supervisory experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of food production techniques, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
