Job Summary

The University of Arizona seeks a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director for the Natural Resource Users Law and Policy Center. The successful candidate will lead the Center's efforts to engage with Arizona natural resource users, landowners, and stakeholders to set priorities and provide critical information and technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the Center and engage with stakeholders, including natural resource users, landowners, and government agencies, to set priorities and provide technical assistance.

Collaborate with the Advisory Board to develop and implement a consultative structure that ensures regular feedback and input.

Develop and implement a fundraising plan to ensure the Center's self-sustainability.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. in a field closely related to natural resource management, law, and policy.

Proven track record of working with groups and individuals, public and private entities, and producers.

Experience in securing extramural funding to support applied research and Extension programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in training students and providing access to legal and technical support for individuals and businesses involved in natural resource management.

Experience working with state and federal government elected officials and land management agencies.
