REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in fabrication methodologies.

Proficiency in tool and fixture design.

Ability to interpret mechanical schematics and blueprints.

Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Familiarity with Team Center, SharePoint, and/or SAP is advantageous.

Capability to review and revise manufacturing work instructions.

Expertise in reading and interpreting product drawings.

Ability to identify relevant tooling and testing equipment for manufacturing processes.

Verification of the physical location of tooling and testing equipment.


Clear identification of all relevant tooling and testing equipment, ensuring it is utilized appropriately within project parameters.

Documentation of the location and shipping details for all relevant tooling and testing equipment is essential.

Collaboration with production teams to ascertain availability of tooling and testing equipment for transfer.

Coordination of the physical movement of all relevant tooling and testing equipment to the designated shipping area.

Development of a project timeline with regular updates on progress.

Strong communication skills to engage with associates at all levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer who is proactive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player, capable of innovative problem-solving in a dynamic Aerospace environment.

Ability to read and interpret part drawings and aviation specifications is crucial.

Proficiency in creating and understanding manufacturing work instructions is required.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook are necessary.

Capability to identify failure modes and conduct RCCA.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and feature checking gauges to assess part conformity.

Understanding of part and assembly Bill of Materials (BOM) structure is required.

Experience in collaborating with internal and external suppliers and customers is necessary.

Ability to identify opportunities for tooling and fixturing, along with making design recommendations.

Experience in conducting time studies of manufacturing and assembly operations is preferred.

Familiarity with SAP ERP systems is a plus.

Experience with APQP functions:
Process Mapping, Control Planning, PFMEA, MSA & PFEP is advantageous.

Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a plus.

Experience in identifying capital projects, submitting requests, and collaborating with purchasing and capitalization teams to complete projects is preferred.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
