Job Overview

Sales Administration plays a crucial role in the operational success of Rittal North America, a leader in innovative engineering solutions. We specialize in designing and manufacturing top-tier industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, including advanced power management and climate control systems tailored for various applications.

As the Team Leader of Sales Administration, you will oversee the Sales Administration teams, ensuring effective collaboration across departments to enhance process efficiencies, achieve corporate and departmental objectives, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your Contributions Will Include:
  • Establishing clear expectations and performance standards for the team, managing outcomes accordingly.
  • Assessing performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities for both the team and individual members.
  • Creating and implementing effective tools and processes.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the accuracy of returns, credits, debits, account setups, and order entries in line with established guidelines.
  • Inspiring team members and fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Planning resources to ensure adequate team service coverage.
  • Resolving customer issues that exceed the team's capabilities.
  • Striving to meet and surpass customer expectations consistently.
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance service quality, particularly focusing on timely deliveries and addressing customer complaints.
  • Utilizing discretion and sound judgment to fulfill customer requirements outside standard procedures.
  • Analyzing data related to returns and sales orders.
  • Managing eCommerce needs, including online shops and customer portals.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate setup and maintenance of customer accounts.
  • Overseeing open order tracking and management.
  • Applying intermediate product knowledge to communicate customer order requirements effectively.
  • Engaging with customers, outside sales, manufacturer's representatives, and distributors.
