Position Overview

Role Summary
The Specialty Pharmacy Account Manager for Innovative Medicines at Teva Pharmaceuticals is tasked with fostering partnerships with regional specialty pharmacies to promote our Innovative Medicine offerings. This position involves collaborating with various internal teams, including brand management, sales, patient services, and market access, to ensure the successful implementation of our strategic objectives. The Account Manager will serve as a key resource for specialty pharmacy staff, providing education on the clinical advantages of our products and the support available for patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are essential for the effective performance of this role:

  • Continuously assess and manage relationships with specialty pharmacy partners within our distribution network.
  • Collaborate with the Innovative Medicines Commercial team to keep all stakeholders informed about pharmacy reimbursement dynamics.
  • Build and sustain relationships with existing specialty pharmacy partners while identifying new opportunities with key decision-makers.
  • Exhibit expertise in product reimbursement and market access strategies.
  • Facilitate compliant communication with sales teams, corporate staff, healthcare professionals, and pharmacies to address patient access issues.
  • Act as a liaison among Market Access, brand teams, sales, and patient services to develop effective pharmacy engagement strategies.
  • Identify market opportunities to effectively position Teva's products based on customer needs.
  • Regularly report to management on patient access opportunities and challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare market landscape.
  • Plan and conduct business reviews focused on Innovative Medicine Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Clearly communicate the corporate narrative and brand value propositions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards in all interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within institutional and specialty pharmacy settings.
  • Preferred candidates will have over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field.
  • Experience in selling branded specialty products is advantageous.

Travel Requirements

This role may require travel of up to 50%.

Physical Requirements

Occasional sitting for extended periods at a workstation or while using mobile equipment is expected.

Working Environment

Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during site visits.
