Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY
The Specialty Pharmacy Account Manager for Innovative Medicines plays a crucial role in establishing and nurturing partnerships with regional specialty pharmacies within Teva's Innovative Medicine portfolio. This position involves engaging with specialty pharmacy collaborators to meet and surpass defined objectives while working collaboratively with various internal teams, including brand management, field sales, new product launches, patient services, distribution partners, Market Access, and medical affairs. The Account Manager will serve as a knowledgeable resource for pharmacists and their teams regarding the clinical advantages of Teva's Innovative Medicines and the support available for patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacies. Additionally, the Account Manager will be well-versed in Teva's Innovative Medicine offerings and payer reimbursement policies, addressing inquiries related to pharmacy reimbursement. This role will also contribute to the strategic launch and implementation of new Innovative Medicine products.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Continuously assess and manage relationships with specialty pharmacy partners within our distribution network.
  • Collaborate across the Innovative Medicines Commercial framework to keep all stakeholders informed about the pharmacy reimbursement landscape for the IM portfolio, understanding specific reimbursement dynamics.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with existing specialty pharmacy partners.
  • Establish new connections with key specialty pharmacy executives and decision-makers.
  • Exhibit expertise in product reimbursement, market access, and pharmacy benefit investigations.
  • Maintain compliant communication with field sales, corporate staff, healthcare professionals, and network pharmacies to identify and resolve patient access challenges.
  • Act as a liaison between Market Access, brand teams, Sales, Patient Services, and Trade to formulate effective pharmacy engagement strategies.
  • Identify market opportunities to strategically position Teva products based on customer and market needs.
  • Regularly update management on opportunities and challenges concerning patient access.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare market.
  • Plan, lead, and conduct business reviews focused on Innovative Medicine Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Articulate the corporate narrative and brand value propositions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance standards are upheld in all interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education, training, and experience that meets the requirements of the position will be considered.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in institutional and specialty pharmacy settings.

Preferred:
- Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in institutional and specialty pharmacy settings.
- Experience in selling branded specialty products.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional sitting for extended periods at a workstation or while using mobile equipment.

VISUAL ACUITY
Engagement in activities such as computer work, data preparation, analysis, and extensive reading.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during site visits.
