Mainspring Energy is seeking a meticulous and experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Configuration Specialist to support our design engineering team. In this role, you will oversee the configuration and release management processes within the engineering workflow. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our PLM system while fostering efficient collaboration across various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage the PLM system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Establish and enforce PLM configuration management processes and standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technical program management, and supply chain, to address their configuration requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Design and implement effective PLM workflows.
  • Conduct regular audits to confirm the accuracy and completeness of PLM data and configurations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the release of product configurations and related documentation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration management plans, change control procedures, and user manuals.
  • Provide training and support to end-users regarding PLM system functionalities and best practices.
  • Eventually, develop a team of PLM Analysts to assist in maintaining the systems as the organization expands.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a PLM Configuration Specialist or in a comparable role focused on design engineering support.
  • Proficient in architecting processes within an engineering environment.
  • Expertise in utilizing Enovia or similar PLM software systems.
  • Experience in developing and managing complex spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Solidworks and data management integration.
  • Experience with Quickbase is advantageous.
The compensation for this role is competitive and includes base salary, pre-IPO stock options, and benefits. The salary will be adjusted based on the candidate's experience and location.
