Overview:
The Enterprise Product division at Meta is dedicated to developing cohesive, scalable, and resilient enterprise applications.

We are in search of a seasoned, insightful purchasing application Subject Matter Expert (SME) who possesses a robust capability to conceptualize and implement products that enhance enterprise operations.

As an integral member of our team, you will contribute significantly to redefining productivity by delivering innovative solutions that cater to the purchasing needs within Meta.


Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing Application Specialist Duties:
Act as a pivotal member of the Enterprise Products Spend team to define and execute intricate purchasing and procurement strategies, roadmaps, and solutions from a procure-to-pay perspective.

Comprehend and apply Fusion Purchasing data models, generate Fusion BIP reports, and craft complex SQL queries (Oracle/MySQL).

Design, develop, and sustain scalable and dependable purchasing systems utilizing metrics that inform critical decisions.

Grasp the functional and technical requirements of our partners and collaborate closely with internal technical teams to provide guidance on activities impacting our purchasing workflows.

Possess the ability to think creatively beyond standard product capabilities to construct efficient and scalable solutions for managing complex and varied procurement scenarios.

Conduct data analysis to identify and resolve data issues, addressing underlying bugs and root causes.

Engage in source control and code review processes.

Offer expertise from an accounts payable process standpoint.

Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making within the team.


Oversee, direct, and manage a team of managed service providers to promptly address support issues, ensuring application health and reliability.

Monitor key application metrics, derive insights, and create dashboards to evaluate results against objectives.

Identify risks within the business function, deliver comprehensive documentation, and collaborate directly with vendor support for escalations.

Analyze moderately complex issues related to configuration, implementation, and functional or process failures.

Foster and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision-makers and the broader enterprise engineering organization.

Lead and support all business readiness activities, including end-user training, product testing, controls readiness, and rollouts.

Collaborate with Meta's partner vendors/OEMs and influence their roadmaps to provide a top-tier experience for Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of pertinent work experience as a procure-to-pay expert with hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and scaling procurement systems for global enterprises.

2+ years of experience in managing complex projects and products.

2+ years of experience working with data models, including hands-on SQL experience for query writing and data analysis.

1+ years of experience in application design, including creating examples through wireframes and mockups.

Familiarity with the end-to-end procurement process, encompassing supplier onboarding, RFX, invoicing, OCR, and payment.

Knowledge of off-the-shelf ERP products such as Oracle Purchasing.

Compensation:
$140,000/year to $195,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
