We are currently seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to become a vital member of our team. This role is based in Westminster, CO, and is essential for enhancing the security posture of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Cybersecurity Systems Administrator, you will:

  • Collaborate with IT teams to assess adherence to NIST/CMMC controls, including the interpretation of control implementation and documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments for identified vulnerabilities and assist in the development of remediation strategies based on program, product, or contractual obligations.
  • Implement Zero Trust security principles to safeguard all systems and endpoints.
  • Support the Cybersecurity team in providing accurate responses to client security inquiries and evaluating compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
  • Maintain and update Cybersecurity documentation, including policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness within the IT department.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Clearance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity and Compliance.
  • At least 5 years of recent experience in Cybersecurity, regulatory governance, and IT security practices.
  • Proficiency in networks, operating systems, applications, and cloud services.
  • Experience in documenting and maintaining Cybersecurity policies and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with CMMC readiness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will also possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Security, Computer Science, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with U.S. government contractors.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities regarding business, products, and technical challenges.
  • Experience in analyzing and resolving business or technical issues.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements, including ISO27001, SOC2, NIST, and CMMC.
  • Knowledge of OWASP/SAMM and experience with third-party risk assessments.
  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM).
  • Active Secret/TS clearance.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and based on individual qualifications, skills, and experience. The position is also eligible for performance-based incentives.
