Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Base-2 Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in test and evaluation processes, contributing to the success of various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Level 1 tasks based on technical training and prior testing experience.
  • Conduct research and apply knowledge of governmental testing and evaluation principles to enhance T&E activities.
  • Plan and execute performance analysis to ensure alignment with decision-maker requirements.
  • Identify performance risk areas to optimize T&E planning.
  • Specify and validate modeling and simulation tools for effective T&E applications.
  • Utilize statistical analysis to assess variations in performance behavior and establish confidence in performance estimates.
  • Select and develop analytical tools for comprehensive evaluation.
  • Implement the evaluation plan based on data collected from testing activities.
  • Coordinate data collection efforts at both program and event levels.
  • Establish data and configuration management capabilities to support T&E objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Data Authentication group to ensure compliance with discrepancy reporting criteria.
  • Evaluate operational and system performance requirements to prioritize T&E objectives.
  • Work closely with Systems Engineering to leverage functional analysis and inform evaluation planning.
  • Assess operational environments to determine evaluation focus and coordinate user participation.
  • Design surveys to gather input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and user assessments.
  • Participate in the T&E Working-level Integrated Product Team (WIPT) for effective coordination of evaluation plans.
  • Produce comprehensive evaluation and analysis plans, risk assessments, and reports.
  • Design data sampling schemes to optimize information balance and control testing uncertainties.
  • Ensure test readiness through participant training and compliance with security and legal requirements.
  • Manage T&E resources and tasks to guarantee quality assurance of testing processes.
  • Drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes to mitigate risks effectively.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in test engineering for programs of similar scope and complexity.
  • A bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Four (4) additional years of test engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in executing testing and data collection plans.
  • Ability to produce detailed test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Experience in Agile software development environments.
  • Proficient in generating technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.
